PlayStation 1 (PSX, PS1, PSone) Multimode 3 (MM3) NTSC-U ModChip

Description

This auction is for one pre-programmed PlayStation MM3(Multimode 3) modchip North American consoles. The chip is an SMD version and it is very low profile for a clean installation. The MM3 chip makes your console region free and capable of playing backup CD's and imports.
These chips are programmed USA/NTSC consoles, if you need one for a different region, please message me with the region that you need. I have USA, Europeen and Japanese available.
This chip support every Playstation model except the slim PSone European PAL model. It can be installed in the slim PAL PSone revision but will only allow you to load game matching the region of the console, not import. if you need a OneChip for your PSOne PAL console please contact me.
Each chip is programmed and verified before shipping. Each 8 pin SOIC chip is mounted on a PCB for easy install.
MM3 requires 7 wires (6 wires for PSone) and you will more than likely need to adjust the laser power on your cd drive. This mod requires soldering so please, make sure you are able to install the chip and have adequate tools/wires before purchasing as it require opening your console and soldering directly to the motherboard of your gaming console. No returns or refunds. We take NO responsibility and will NOT be held accountable for any damage done to your console from improper installation.
