    Description

    The item for sale is a metal goldtone rouge compact made by the Rigaud company.  The product is named after Mary Garden an opera singer.  This is one of the first examples of a product associated with a celebrity.  The compact has a smooth domed form with the label etched into it.  There is much of the rouge in the container but this is dry and cracking around the edge.  The applicator is present.  The item is undamaged with only slight wear.  The diameter is 2 1/2".  The thickness is 13/16".  Please check out  my other vintage compacts on sale now.  Shipping discounts apply to multiple purchases.
