This antique copper measure is marked FARROW & JACKSON LIMITED LONDON. Stamped in lead is G.R with a crown ( upside-down) also the letter F and the number 48 this is most likely the date. On the front is GALLON. The handle is hollow joined with a brass filled seam and is attached with copper rivets, 2 on top 1 on the bottom. The neck has a dovetailed seam, but the body doesn't. This could be because it was replaced at some time. The spout and handle look older than the body. The jug is water tight, no leaks. It is about 9" wide across the bottom and 12" tall. It does have some dents on the body. Thank you for looking
